# Schools perform Messiah

Music lovers, supporters of music in schools, and lovers of Handel’s *Messiah* have been invited to attend a performance of *Messiah* by the combined forces of the Knox Academy of Performing Arts and Pymble Ladies’ College.

*Messiah* will be performed at Knox Grammar School in the new Great Hall on Sunday November 27 at 4 pm and on Thursday December 1 at 7 pm in the PLC War Memorial Chapel.

A performance of the Messiah is a considerable undertaking and marks a distinctive moment in the history of both schools, neither of which has undertaken the challenge before.

*Messiah* draws together serious music buffs as well as many who may know only a few of its famous choruses, perhaps most notably the Halleluiah Chorus.
