In case you missed it in the general report, the World Council of Churches Central Committee encouraged the Australian churches to give further support to the efforts of Australia’s Indigenous peoples as they seek the implementation of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, especially the right to self-determination for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.
