RED

Billed as the only film to have Helen Mirren toting a sub-machine gun, this classic caper film has been re-dressed with a clutch of past their prime action heroes at the helm.

(M) Icon DVD/BD

Billed as the only film to have Helen Mirren toting a sub-machine gun, this classic caper film has been re-dressed with a clutch of past their prime action heroes at the helm.

Frank (Bruce Willis) is retired and bored and strikes up a phone relationship with his pension case worker Sarah (Mary-Louise Parker).

When Frank discovers his conversations are being bugged and his past comes back to haunt him, Sarah becomes involved in the intrigue and his former spy operatives.

Like Frank they are all RED – Retired Extremely Dangerous.

Outrageous stunts and set pieces put retired spies Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich, Ernest Borgnine, Helen Mirren and a cameo from Richard Dreyfuss in the firing line and keep the ageist comedy lines coming thick and fast.
