## **Hans Kunnen with Bina Brown** **Authentic Media, $25**

There’s probably always been a conflict for Christians when it comes to wealth. In fact usually anything to do with money, borrowing and investing in the share market or just taking risks can cause concern.

Against the background of the global financial crisis (GFC) there are thousands of stories of lives being ruined through investments that have gone wrong, usually as the result of questionable management practices.

Even before the GFC people have been caught.

*Borrow + Build* is something new in the money area. Hans Kunnen is a Christian who has used his 25 years in the finance industry to provide an easy read and a valuable resource for those who seriously want to manage their assets, or build them through a planned approach.

His book is not simply a cover-to-cover story, but rather the step-by-step approach that could be used by those with a risk appetite to sensibly incur debt and hopefully build wealth.

As with any book about money and investing, it doesn’t provide all the answers. Naturally independent financial advice should be sought before any strategy is embarked upon. In theory at least what Hans Kunnen has written should, if properly executed, pay dividends in the long run.
