30,000 reasons to keep going!

In 2014, sales of used stamps by the Synod Stamp Committee raised more than $30.000, the highest amount in since the Committee began in 1977.

Following renovations to the Committee’s Sydney base (at Level 2, Pilgrim House, Pitt Street). sales are resuming on Tuesday and Friday morning each week.

Many of the volunteers who assist the Committee never see the activity that goes on at our Sydney base. These volunteers are at work in their Congregations across the Synod, collecting, trimming and sorting, before they send stamps to Sydney.

The Committee wishes to thank everyone who is part of this “cloud of witnesses”, which continues to enable funding for projects within Congregations, communities, Synod and assembly agencies.
