2012 leadership intensives

For the last five years the Leadership Institute has been running multi-day leadership intensives — in capacity building for individuals and teams with strengths-based approaches to exercising effective leadership.

In the first half of 2012 the institute will run two intensives.

The institute’s Sue Kaldor said, “Our experience over the last five years has been that it can really help people in complex roles, at times of transition, when dealing with change or in developing new initiatives.

“It can be invaluable for people looking for direction or seeking to discover what they have to offer. It is not just suitable for people in churches but for anybody involved in trying to make a difference — in schools, community groups, social care agencies, or anywhere there are people trying to live or work together.

“A small group of people participating from the same church or team can provide a good base for fruitful conversation.”

Sydney Intensive dates in the first half of 2012:

February 24-25
March 30-31
April 27-28

Intensive 2
May 18-19
June 15-16
July 20-21

The Leadership Institute hopes to run some intensives in regional New South Wales in the second half of the year.

Costs: $780. The institute has a reduced rate for students and will not reject anybody simply on the basis of finances.
